    an elegant and understated look if you don't need to read the time down to the minute by Brian Linnell

    I really like this watch. It's very stylish and less of a taskmaster than the usual thing. You can't read the time down to the minute, but once you've worn it for a few days you figure out where the hand positions for each five-minute interval, and you can see when you're at each quarter-hour just about exactly. For my purposes that's all I need out of a watch, so I'm happy to have one with a different look. This model in particular, all black with white lettering and the silver hand, is elegant and understated.

    Sehr schön und edel, ich liebe das entschleunigende Ziffernblatt! Ich hoffe, das Lederband wird noch etwas geschmeidiger, aber das sollte bei echtem Leder nur eine Frage der Zeit sein.

    Very nicely manufactured and packaged. Every detail is as you would expect for a nice watch. The single-hand design and 24-hour dial make the watch unique and lead to fun discussions of attitudes about time, as expected. Feels good to wear this in a time when so many people feel like they are stuck on a digital treadmill. The 24-hour analog watch is a constant reminder that we have choice about how we use the gift of time each day. The numbers on the dial are quite small for my old eyes and it is a bit difficult to set the time precisely. It took me a few tries. If those things will be a problem for you, go into this purchase with realistic expectations. Overall, great watch. Might even buy a few more.
