We are super excited about our new Vintage leather strap series!

They are just the perfect addition to our soft leather straps as they are thicker and firmer. They have a fantastic raw look and give totally new look to the watch.

Which one to chose is only a question of personal taste, but in general you should try them both! It’s so easy to exchange them with the tool that we provide that it would be a bummer to only have one.

The vintage leather styles come in five distinct combinations: All black case with brown band, all gold case with dark brown as well as black band, silver case with dark brown strap and a real special: dark green strap with the all black case!

We are growing up and are ready to take the next step: We just „soft launched“ our new office in Hamburg – whoohooo!!

Of course there are still thousands of things to do and to take care of. But it’s great to have some more space and also a place where you guys can always drop by and meet slow Jo in person 🙂

It’s an office and no store but who knows what will happen in the future… A slow store… does not sound that bad! Hehe.

We guess you have already seen some pictures of travelling slow Jo on Facebook. Of course everybody looooves travelling and for sure we posted some very nice photos of slow watches in fantastic locations and awesome views – but why is travelling actually slow!?

The first point we mentioned already: because we love it! And slow is all about focusing on what you love to do…

But of course there is much more to it:
When you travel you open your mind. That’s a great first step out of your hamster wheel of daily routines. As you are not in your usual environment you have to get out of your comfort zone which allows you to re-think your life and make the right decisions for the future.

You widen your horizon and experience different views on life, foreign mentalities / cultures and valuable impressions which help you to become an even wiser person than you might already be. Getting a new perspective often facilitates seeing what are the really essential elements in life.

When you travel you can completely let go of your stressful life and re-set the focus on what YOU really are and what YOU really want. You can truly live the moment (if you are able to turn off your phone) and stop chasing every minute.

At the end of your trip you move on and leave something beautiful behind. Letting things lose is another essential slow element and it ensures that everything keeps developing and flowing.

You see there are a couple of good reasons why travelling is slow. At least these are some of the reasons why we let slow Jo travel to all these amazing places. Of course there are at least 1000 more reasons and if you want you can share yours with us!!

We will continue to share some impressions of slow Jo’s trips from time to time in order to give you some inspiration to get into a holiday mind-set even you might be at home…

Last night our friends Ghanem and Sebastian hosted the traditional business get-to-together at Streit’s Cinema with the idea to connect various interesting people.

They initiated this event many years as they realized that the year is passing to quickly and there is not enough time to build new relationships and exchange inspirations.

Of course we were immediately excited to support this slow approach and contributed a slow one-hand watch for a luck draw. In the end Michael was the happy winner, but it was an amazing feeling that everybody wanted it.

It was awesome to meet a lot of great people and to receive such a positive feedback on our brand.

Thanks a lot for an inspiring and slow night!

Luckily, this headline seemed to be misunderstanding and is actually referring to the over 6000 shots that photographer Robert Whitman took for the slow launch campaign in the streets of New York this summer.

We were aware that this shooting will define the personality of the brand in a significant way. Therefore we all were immediately excited about the idea of working with Robert who is famous for capturing the moment in a very impactful and unique way. That’s why Robert was perfect to bring slow‘s authentic, casual and yet sophisticated brand DNA alive in very unstaged and raw way. The shots truly represent what slow is about: Real people, fun, spending time on what’s important in your life, and great watches.

Needless to mention that we had an amazing time in NY: Perfect weather, great locations, a huge tour bus, a fantastic crew, and of course incredible photos as a result. That’s how work life is supposed to be!
